Speak No Evil – Guitar Lesson, If the volume is to soft, go to Speak No Evil – Guitar Lesson 2

Jazz Blues
My take on a great jazz standard by Wayne Shorter, “Speak No Evil.”

This lesson will be looking at 3 important areas you need to know for any jazz standard.

1) The Head (Melody) – Lays very well on the guitar, The A Section is in a Qusai chord solo, and the B section is just the straight melody.
2) The Comping (Chords) – A great comping example you can use as is, and also can help develop your own ideas.
3) The Solo – I wrote out a solo for the first A section and the bridge leaving you plenty of space to create/improvise on your own.
