Motley Crue – Girls, Girls, Girls Guitar Lesson (Full Song)

Intermediate
The main riff can be played as shown in the tutorial but also with the G5-A5-G5 played an octave higher as 10-12-10 power chord slide on the 5th string. I prefer the way it sounds like I demonstrate in the lesson, but Mick Mars actually plays it in the 10th position. With all the guitar layering in the recording it sounds great, but with just one guitar I think it sounds better an octave lower. But I forgot to mention that in the lesson. 👍

In this Girls, Girls, Girls guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play all of this Motley Crue classic note-for-note.

The tuning for “Girls, Girls, Girls” is D standard tuning. That means you will need to tune your entire guitar down one whole-step. Those notes will be, starting from the 6th string, D G C F A D.There are some great riffs in this one so I hope you enjoy learning it. I will go through each section of the song in the order that they appear.

At the end of the video lesson, will be Mick Mars’ guitar solo. There are lots of blues based licks including some big bends. However, it isn’t a very hard solo to play for the intermediate level player and up.

Have fun guys! #girlsgirlsgirlsguitarlesson #motleycrue #thedirt #guitarcovers
