Electric Gypsy is an homage to Jimi Hendrix by Andy Timmons. It’s a play on words with Hendrix’s “Electric Ladyland” and “Band of Gypsys”. Timmons’ music, while instrumental, is often inspired by classic rock, such as Hendrix or The Beatles.

Andy Timmons (born July 26, 1963) is an American guitarist who has played in the bands Danger Danger, Pawn Kings, and Andy Timmons Band (ATB). He has also released several solo albums and has worked as a session guitarist.
