Harley Benton DC guitar kit assembly instructions, test and review

Review
Harley Benton DC double cut / Gibson SG guitar kit assembly, test and review. This is a follow on from the original unboxing of the Harley Benton DC guitar kit.

My Harley Benton SC / Gibson SG videos page – http://www.ebooks4guitar.com/dckit.htm

This Harley Benton kit is a Gibson SG style guitar kit, however Harley Benton call it a DC guitar kit which stands for double cut. They also make a Les Paul style kit which they call an SC or Single Cut DIY guitar kit. The fact that it’s a kit means it’s an unfinished guitar that has all the parts to put together to create a complete electric guitar. The kit is complete with all the parts you need and ready to be constructed, however the wood for the body is bare and unfinished. Because the body is bare and unfinished you can choose how to finish the guitar off to make it your own.

I found a few interesting things out as I was building this guitar and testing it and I recommend you watching this video if you are thinking of buying one of these guitars. I try to stick rigidly to the instructions to build this guitar to make sure it is possible to build the guitar with the provided parts and instructions.

I have already done an unboxing and review of this guitar which you can find here;

Because this video became too long to include all the details you will find these videos useful towards finishing the guitar off;
