In this video, Chuck Anastasiou demonstrates how to play Steve Cropper’s rhythm figure on “Time Is Tight”. His playing, along with the rest of the band’s, on this tune is a great lesson in creating a hypnotic rhythm part that grooves. Nice syncopation and use of double stops in the lower register here.
