This course is for complete beginners who would like to learn the basics of fingerstyle guitar – there is no need for a certain type of instrument so you can start on either the acoustic or electric.
We’ll start by learning the parts of your guitar and how to hold the instrument through to learning beginner friendly versions of some of my most popular songs; ‘Primrose’ and ‘Long Island City’.
You’ll learn how to read chord charts and TAB and we’ll mainly focus on learning open and barre chords as well as simple strumming and picking patterns to get you ready for more intricate fingerstyle techniques that I’ll show in future.
This is just the beginning for the both of us, so I really hope you learn to love the guitar as much as I do.
