UPDATE: The Reason Why Tom Decided to Release “Soul Power” is he made Fender agree to donate 100s of guitars to Charities that he backs that provides instruments to prison inmates for rehabilitation as well as for school programs so children can be given the opportunity to learn to play in order to better express themselves.
📚 Description: In 2020, Fender released a signature guitar that I got pretty excited about. The Signature Tom Morello Soul Power Stratocaster. This guitar pays tribute to his original Soul Power Guitar that he used in the powerhouse group “Audioslave.” His original guitar was a USA Fender Designer Series Stratocaster which was a Guitar Center exclusive that shared many specs with the Aerodyne Strats from Japan. He inscribed Soul Power on it in marker in order to give this new guitar an identity as he moved on from Rage Against the Machine and using the Arm the Homeless partscaster.
