We’re going to go over both the original picking pattern & I’ve also created some of my own strumming patterns based on my interpretation. I think you’ll really dig them! I feel like they capture both the drop before “PAIN!” really well and complement the beat throughout the song.
If you find any of the techniques shown challenging, just start easy with downs strums until you are ready to really dive in!
Also, if you’re wondering why portions of the strumming is underlined, it is to emphasize where you mute. The video will explain that part. π

To me Guitar Goddess does NOT mean βIβm the best guitarist out there.β To me, the meaning of Guitar Goddess is on a much deeper and interconnected level. Guitar Goddess is that indescribable feeling I get whenever I play my guitar. I feel beautiful, confident & positive. It’s unlike anything else. I feel like it’s something other guitarists can relate to. Guitar Goddess does not define my skills or my playing style and I don’t think the name I chose is un-deserving in any way. In my opinion, every female guitarist should be able to call herself a Guitar Goddess no matter what style of music she plays or how experienced she is. Itβs not about skill. Itβs about the passion.
