And welcome to video #1 of my Essential Chords of Blues, Jazz and R&B lessons series. Together, we’ll be traveling up fretboard to learn some common chord shapes, and how to apply them to a 12 bar blues. For this session, our goal is to be able to perform professional sounding progressions in major keys and to be able to recognize some of the common ways that these chord shapes are fretted.
