Welcome to this Broken Guitar Tutorial by Seether Feat. Amy Lee!
This is an another amazing example of how you can turn 3 chords into a classic hit. The fingerpicking pattern is quite iconic and is based around 3 chord shapes. It’s a lot of fun to play and really gets you practicing you hammer ons and pull offs. There’s a lot of great techniques to unpack in this lesson from harmonics to flat picked solos. As always I’ll show you easy versions of certain parts if the hard parts are too hard.
Note that the original song is in flat tuning – in this lesson I’ve taught everything in standard tuning for simplicity bit if you want to play along with the original you’ll have to detune your guitar.
