One of the most impressive things to watch a guitar player do is switch effortlessly between rhythm and lead guitar. In this video, I’ll show you how to start playing solos, riffs, and licks in the gaps between your guitar chords. There are a thousand different ways to approach this topic, but here, we’ll be making use of the chord roadmaps that you should be familiar with from other videos of mine. I’ll even show you how to connect your minor pentatonic scale to your bar chords so you can start using a basic scale shape to improvise with as well!
