We’ll start by going over two important music theory concepts — you can watch the full videos for those here:
Finding The Notes On The Guitar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KwMsuTKGkk
Understanding The Major Scale: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wE8nzruMWM
Once you’ve got that down, we’ll get into the 3-step system. The first step involves finding the key of the song using a moveable major scale shape. Step two will have you placing a chord roadmap so you know which guitar chords occur in the key of the song. Finally, in step three, you’ll listen to the song and pick out the correct chords from your roadmap.
