Welcome to this Almost Guitar Tutorial by Hozier!
This is the first single off Hozier’s awesome new album Wasteland, Baby! There’s not a whole lot of parts to learn in this song, structure wise it’s fairly basic, however timing wise it’s very tricky! The rhythm’s in this song are very complex with an unusual percussion loop. On top of that the utilises a whole lot of barre chords so it’s easiest to learn this on the electric.Despite being tricky, it sounds amazing and is a whole lot of fun to play! So be sure to give it a shot. When Hozier plays it he adds a bunch of little fills and improvisations which I have left out for simplicity.
