In the first guitar lesson video above you will learn an easy guitar arrangement of The Beatles classic “Let It Be”.
Even though the original song was mostly piano, the chord progression is still quite simple and easy to play on the guitar.
You may want to liven up the rhythm after you get the hang of the tune. Just use your natural sense of rhythm to help you play along with the recording.
This is for all of you that are just starting out and want to learn a nice campfire classic. 😀
In the second video I have something for you more experienced guitar players out there. I will teach you note-for-note how to play George Harrison’s guitar solo for “Let It Be”.
Now there are two different versions of this song, the single version and the album version. This solo lesson will cover the solo in the album version of the song.
It is a really great solo with lots of cool guitar hooks and melodic playing. George Harrison had a true gift for creating solos that are hummable pretty much after only one lesson. This solo is no different.
There are some challenging licks to learn as well. Tasty bends, hammer-ons, pull-offs, pre-bends and slick slides abound. Have fun with this one!
