Welcome to Throwback Thursday’s where I teach you a classic hit from the last 4-5 decades! This week, by request, I’ll be covering a Snuff Guitar Tutorial from metal band Slipknot! I absolutely love this track and for all the amazing heavy songs they write, they’re just as capable of writing a softer emotional ballad. In the recorded version the guitarists actually tune their guitars down 3 semitones which is a real hassle, so I teach you an easy way to play this is standard tuning. Chord and structure wise, this is an incredibly easy song and is based off just 6 chord shapes. There’s also some really nice lead parts to learn.
