If you are brand new to guitar or trying to learn how to play guitar, this lesson series is for you. This is Part Three in the Brand New Beginner Guitar Lesson series. In this guitar lesson, we continue from what you learned in the first two guitar lessons, by learning more strumming patterns for guitar.
In the last guitar lesson, we learned about guitar strumming patterns and how to add upstrokes to your strumming pattern. Adding upstrokes to a strumming pattern will really smooth out your strumming and make your guitar playing sound more musical. We started with learning how to play an upstroke with the proper technique and then we talked about when to play an upstroke on the guitar. There are specific times in the strumming pattern where an upstroke will sound the best.
In part 3 of this guitar lesson series, we help you learn even more strumming patterns and also how to play 16th notes on the guitar. If you have been struggling to figure out how to play strumming patterns on the guitar, how to add upstrokes to your strumming pattern, or how to add 16th notes to your strumming pattern, you will find this lesson very helpful.
