🔥2 Beautiful Gypsy Jazz Chord Progressions For Solo Guitar🔥
In this lesson you’ll learn two beautiful chord progressions that will give you much joy and bring sweet sounds out of your guitar.
We all have more opportunity these days to play a lot of solo guitar and these simple yet beautiful chords will add something special to your playing.
The first progression consists of two chords that we play as we descend down the neck.
If you wrote it down it would be E7-A D7-G C7-F Bb7-Eb
The cool thing is that the Dom7 is in the root
Then on the next chord the Major 3rd is in root.
Descending this baseline down the neck with the accompanying chords sounds awesome.
Play it in or out of time and try arpeggiating for extra flair.
The second chord progression is a version of the good old 2-5-1.
First we play the minor chord with the 3rd in bass
THEN transition to the Dom 7 with the 7th in bass – The same note!
This is also a very cool and smooth sound.
