My Silver Lining uses very basic chords throughout, but the difficulty is ramped up by the quick finger picking that features throughout. Finger picking is not my strong suit, and I struggled quite a lot with this! Fortunately, the pattern isn’t complex, just fast. It can all be played with your thumb and first two fingers. The pattern stays the same throughout, you just need to alter the first note to reflect the root of whichever chord you’re playing at the time – so, the Em and G chords start on the 6th string, while the C and the D/A chords start on the 5th string.
Only the first note needs to change, the rest of the pattern remains identical throughout. I’ve based this pattern off what I’ve seen Klara play in live videos.
