Lately, there have been a few negative videos about Glarry surfacing so I wanted to share how I REALLY feel about the company. Glarry is based out of China and sometimes when you’re talking with them, there can be miscommunications. What might be seen as pushy is just them sending you a copy/paste generic message and them wanting to know when your review might be finished. I’m sure they get burnt all the time since they send free guitars to ANYONE now… Communication is key. For example, I got this telecaster guitar on September 15th and let them know I would need 2 weeks until the video could be posted ( September 27th ) and they were just fine.
If Glarry reaches out to you to do a guitar review – happily take the free guitar and do it. They are GREAT – for the price point – but usually require some minor to moderate set up work. These would be good for a beginner if you’re friends with someone that can help you dial in the guitar or you’re handy. They have large necks so they might not be suitable for younger players. These are great candidates for people that want to practice guitar repair. I usually have a good time with the guitars that Glarry sends me.
