Here are 3 intermediate licks for you to learn. The full course has 15 licks – 5 each over G7, C7 and D7.
The blues licks are great staple licks – plug and play ideas you can use over almost any blues song. They are not jazz swing, or swing blues licks. They are just regular blues guitar licks that have a swing feel to them.
NOTE that I really put focus on understanding the licks, relating them to chords and scales. This is very IMPORTANT, something not all teachers do, as I’m sure you’ve noticed.
