Welcome to Throwback Thursday’s where I teach you a classic hit from the last 4-5 decades! This week we’re back with some Ed Sheeran and an I’m A Mess Guitar Tutorial. Absolutely love this song, Ed Sheeran is definitely a favourite artist of mine and for a lot of my viewers so please enjoy! I’ll teach you 2 different ways of playing this song.
1. Easy Version with Capo – Uses basic open chords with capo on the 3rd fret in standard tuning.
2. Studio Version in alternative tuning – Uses mostly power chord shapes. All strings are flat tuned except for G sting which is left as is.
