Welcome to Throwback Thursday’s where I teach you a classic hit from the last 4-5 decades! This week I’ll be going over an I Won’t Give Up Guitar Tutorial from singer/songwriter Jason Mraz! What a tune! This song has a great finger picking riff in it which is actually a lot easier to learn than you would think!
For the basics you’ll need your guitar in Drop D tuning and you’ll need a capo on the 2nd fret. There’s a combination of picking and strumming in this song. Because the tuning is in drop D, the chord shapes we’ll use will differ slightly from standard tuning.
